Decibel has transitioned from testing to live trading on the Aptos mainnet, launching a fully onchain perpetuals exchange that achieved over 700,000 registered accounts and more than one million trades daily, indicating a significant shift in decentralised trading platforms.
Decibel has moved from testing to live trading on the Aptos mainnet, launching what its backers describe as a fully onchain perpetuals exchange that places order matching, risk management and settlement inside smart contracts. The platform’s public trial attracted more than 700,000 unique accounts, peaked at roughly 132,000 daily active users and handled in excess of one million trades per day, while a pre-deposit drive amassed about $58m in committed capital ahead of mainnet activation. According to the announcement, Aptos Labs co-developed the exchange with the Decibel Foundation.
